Grindr etiquette question: If you message someone "Hey" or "Hi" and their reply is, "Not interested," should you be irked that they were so rude, or should you be thankful they bothered to reply at all?

I'm sorry the truth hurts to hear, but at least I wasn't mean about it. I'll even be nice and give you a chance to make things right, but know I'm not holding my breath...

Just checking that I'm not crazy:

You unintentionally offend someone. They tell you so. The appropriate response is:

A. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you."
B. "Go fuck yourself."

(If there are other options I'm not thinking of, please enlighten me.)

Why does everyone seem to think that honesty MUST be brutal? Dears, it's not a requirement; nay, it's really only to be so in the most extreme of cases. The "nice, necessary, true" test doesn't include "nastiness for the sake of it."
