Today is my birthday. I have taken the day off from work. I fucking HATE "Top Gear." Please remove it immediately and replace it with a day long marathon of "Doctor Who" or "Star Trek."

Ren faire rescheduled for 2 weeks. Hopefully this means more people will be able to join me.  Still on for wine festival tomorrow, rain or shine. :)

Working on weekend plans. I'm thinking Ren Faire on Saturday, then wine festival on Sunday, then taking Monday off. :)

Lovely weekend in Philly for Mom's birthday. Drove up Thursday night, and found she'd already done a lot of work around the house and in the yard. Spent Friday and Saturday doing mostly yardwork and little repairs around the house, food shopping, and food prep ( Read more... )

A lovely day at EPCOT - whisked into Soarin', no line for Mission: Space, a newly updated Spaceship Earth, Coke from around the world, a little champagne from Canada, and IllumiNations, and most wonderfully got to hang out with Joe, David, Andy, Chris, Mark, Ryan and a few new folks. Could hardly ask for more!

Plus, birthday! Old but happy. :)

I think $36 for a hotel room the night before a 9:15 a.m. flight is worth it, don't you? (Consider it's an almost two-hour drive to get to the airport, plus check-in...) That's the difference between a hotel and paying for parking.

Tickets are purchased - Mom and I are going to WDW for my birthday weekend. Also, sold off two more dolls. Also, off to Philly this weekend. Also, I need to stop saying, "Also."

I'm alive. My GP says he wants to do blood work and check for any parathyroid problems, just in case. Whee.

In other news, I think I'm going to spend my birthday in Disney World. Also, just bought a copy of Falling, which I've been wanting for a while. Also, still looking at buying a Cube.
