It started as an itsy-bitsy, plain-text Tolkien recs page, way back in October 2002. It got itself a name & a new domain, it collected recs I'd made in other forums, taught me ASP... and now Espresso Recommendations has just reached 250 recommendations in 32 flavours.

Edited to add: In honour of the milestone, I've just enabled indexing by date added. Aren't databases just the cutest things?
