Awesome new game online!
The game is at www.freerice.com and it is a basic improve your vocab game. The cool thing is that every time you get a word right the sponsors donate 10 grains of rice to the world food programme. It's not the most challenging or complex game ever, but if you have 15 minutes to kill between (or during) classes and you would have played solitaire or something instead than it is a good way to not only make yourself smarter, but do something good for others. I donated 3200 grains of rice to starving people yesterday. In less than 2 months they have already raised over 2 billion grains of rice. Go! Play!
What are YOU doing for Spring Break?!
If any of you are thinking of going some place fun for Spring Break I may be able to help. I am currently selling Spring Break vacation packages, and the rates are actually pretty good. All packages include airfare and good accomodations and many include other fun things. Groups of 6 or more get special discounts. So, if you know anyone thinking of visiting Mexico or the Caribbean or even Europe give out my email. OR if you are just wondering how far you can get on as little cash as you may have, give me an idea of what you have and what you want and I'll try to hook you up! Payment plans are available, but all payments must be received by Jan 4, 2008. If anyone's got any fun trips in mind to Jamaica, the Bahamas... ANYPLACE warmer than Marquette, you might even be able to talk me into joining you if I sell enough packages... I'll give you guys updates as to how thats going. Oh, and if anyone wants to start selling these where they are than let me "hire you on" as a rep.... it works out the same for you, but I also make money from each of your sales too.
