So, We finished watching Season 2 of the Muppet show, in all it's Muppet goodness. That was really fun, but then we watched the special features, and they really just made me sad. There weren't very many of them, and they included a neat Weezer video which they made with the Muppets, and some "Muppets on the Muppets" interviews where they sit the Muppets down and talk to them like they're people. That was ok. I've given up on the new Muppets being genius funny and was merely hoping for occasional Funny, but they disappointed too. They all felt.. wrong, like they weren't even them. Well, the newer ones were themselves, but Kermit was a bastard, and Miss Piggy had gone from being a bitch to being delusional, and it really wasn't funny at all.
The worst part of the entire interview was when they were asked what they thought of Jim Henson, and Fozzie didn't remember him. Neither did Rizzo, but he also said he never met the guy. but FOZZIE? Frank Oz's Fozzie? That's just wrong. It felt almost exactly like I'd feel if twenty years from now you asked my friends what they though of me, and Kim or Rachel, or Jack said, "Who?" It honestly made me cry a little.
Maybe I'm just extremely Nit-picky. I guess they thought it was funny. And No one else seems to feel that way. Well, It has been a bad weekend. I'd rant about it, but
Jack has already covered the Major Points. So I think I'm gonna go brush my teeth and play Puzzle quest, or Phoenix Wright.
Oh Yeah! Christmas in August was today. Secret Santa was fun, Dinner was pretty good, and no-one danced at the dance. I blame reggae, since I can. Oh, and even though i kind of need the money, I opted to not work overtime today, which is good, since i probably would have hit someone if i had gobe to work. I need a vacation
