Grr. Arrg.
So I went to Bozeman today, since my co-worker was going and i needed to get my phone taken care of, and i ended up taking three hours to get the whole thing straightened out, spending a lot more money than I should have, and now I'm stupidly broke. And while i got a new phone, it's not the one i wanted and i really only took it because i was dammed if i was going to come back again to take care of it. :P
What happened was, we were at the mall and there was a cell phone place that sold verizon, so I went to them. They sold me a very nice phone, actually, which was covered under my New Every Two credit and everything. Only five minutes later they called me and told me they couldn't actually sell the phone to me, since i was from California. They were really nice about it, replaced my credit and even gave me a rebate on my cell-phone bill, but then I had to go to the corporate store and buy the phone there. And, when I got there, not only did they at first only want to give me only Half the credit i was due, they didn't have the very nice phone i wanted. So the (admittedly cute) salesman showed me a few other phones, which I picked another one of, and he went to go get it.
They were out.
So, by this point everyone's waiting for me and i really just want to get going, but he points out the KRAZORs and they look alright, so i say sure. But apparently i hafta also buy the accessories package when i buy at the corporate store, which was probably a lie but i said ok just because i really just wanted to get out of there, and Since the price he actually quoted to me was the price after rebate (which i still have to mail in, despite the fact that if i had ordered this very phone online (LIKE I WANTED TO IN THE FIRST PLACE but they wouldn't let me because people with PO boxes apparently don't exist), it would have been taken automatically, so to get out of the store I had to pay something like 97 dollars.
Which will eventually be fine. The rebate is for 50, and the credit which the people in the mall said they would give me will be another 40 or so dollars, so the phone is essentially free... I'm just fucked right now. Which annoys the hell out of me, since I've tried really hard to save money, and yet every month i keep going into my overdraft. I'm gonna work some overtime these next few weeks, if we still have the budget for it, and hopefully I'll catch back up, but Maybe Staying the winter won't be practical for the sheer reason I just won't make enough money.
