M-21 frowned, keeping his door open. "What is that?"
Tao peeked over the bundle in his hands; even then, M-21 could see the wide grin he wore. "You can't tell?"
"…They're flowers." Very red flowers. Very big flowers that covered Tao's arms, hiding them completely. Very strong smelling flowers too.
"Roses," Tao corrected, stepping into his room. M-21 let him, watching him in bemusement as Tao set them down on the table.
"What are they for?" Wasn't Frankenstein going to kill them if they left petals all over the floor?
"They're romantic," Tao said simply.
"Romant…" M-21 started to repeat before he realised what Tao as implying. He raised an eyebrow and then glanced back at the flowers. "I don't…" he started uncomfortably, not sure how to word what he wanted to say.
"Heh." Tao snickered, his grin not dimming. "I know; I just wanted to get my message across."
M-21 stared at Tao for a second, before he sighed, resisting the urge to rub the bridge of his nose. He should have known Tao would do something like that to make a point.
