Because I wanted to write something actually happy/funny, dammit.
This was going to be written for the original verse, but this makes way more sense in this verse. XD
Aaaaah, running out of titles I haven't used already again!

Marland peered down at the list of ingredients on the back of the packet, ignoring the bustle of the other shoppers around him. Except when they got too close. Then he was bumping into Shodin as he tried to get out of their way.
He eventually ended up with his arm pressed against Shodin's when there wasn't anyone near them because as soon as he stepped away, he ended up there again anyway.
Shopping on a Saturday afternoon. Ugh.
"Yo."
Marland froze and then whirled his head around to see Kendal there, a semi-full shopping trolley in front of her. She was standing directly behind them, craning her neck at their arms.
Oh, shit. He hadn't told her -hadn't told anyone, because why should he?- but he didn't want-
"Can you pass two of the pepperoni pizzas?"
…What?
"Sure." Shodin leaned forward, scooped up two of the right packets and slid them into her trolley.
Huh? Didn't she…?
Seeing his dumbfounded look, Kendal raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"You - don't-?" What exactly was he trying to ask?
Kendal snorted, huffing a laugh. "You're askin' me now? Don't you think I woulda said something weeks ago?"
Marland stared at her in confusion. "'Weeks ago'?" They'd only started going out last weekend.
Her return look was one of mild bemusement. "Wasn't that when you two first started dating?"
Wha - Why - How did she get that idea?
Shodin turned his head away as he snickered into his hand but Marland still heard him. He glared at his boyfriend but he was completely ignored.
Kendal glanced between them, her eyebrows drawn in. "What?"
"Never mind," he grumbled, rolling his eyes. He wasn't going to ask. Either of them.
