So, I hate Marc's. Hate it. I am so tired of this shit.
For any of you who know, since I started working at the library, I've obviously had to cut my hours at work, which was fine with Lisa, but then she started forgetting when I could work, and scheduled me the bare minimum which I was not happy with. I told Elliot this, and he said that I should talk to Lisa (which I did). Unfortunately, Lisa is on vacation this week, so Elliot is doing the cashier's schedule.
Now, since I had brought up my scheduling woes to Elliot, I thought that he might try to pay attention to what days I could work this week. I had to request off Sunday because I'm working at the library right after what would be my Sunday shift at Marc's. And then I put in the request off book that I *could* work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and for him to schedule me as many hours as possible, preferably in the morning.
Well, schedules went out today, I go pick Jackie up after her closing shift, she tells me I'm working Sunday from 8-1 (which I obviously can't do) and that Elliot put that I requested off Wed-Friday.

I'm ready to fucking smack Elliot. I wrote nearly a whole paragraph about coming in to work Wed-Fri, and what I really don't understand is I filled the requests off last Sunday, at least a full week AFTER no one was allowed to request off the 4th of July, this Friday. So, now I want to take a huge skillet and smack him over the head with it. I am so done with this shit. Lisa'a going to be pissed when she gets back, but there's nothing she can do about it. Except give me a big raise, which would make me reconsider. And a promise that I would work every Wednesday and Thursday and the Sundays that I can. But the only thing that would keep me there is a big raise, which they aren't going to give me because Marc Glassman is an asshole like that.
But, despite that, I'm trying to have a good night because I got my $10,000 loan and I am so definitely going back to school in the fall! Oh yeah, go me! I can't wait. Now all I have to do is put in my mom's insurance information and e-mail Bo my schedule, and I will be all set! :) Yay!
