Work at the library is excellent. There are plenty of cool people and the work is wonderful. I wish I could do drive-thru window though. It was nice and isolated. I loved it so much for the three hours I was there last week.
Although nothing is going to beat going back to Jerome, my library. Le sigh. Just over two months. *taps fingers on desk*
Marc's sucks ass as usual. In the past two weeks, I've been officially scheduled all of 13 hours, although I was able to pad it to 26 for two weeks, but that is completely unacceptable from a manager who told Lakewood Library that I was an "asset." Asset my, well, you know. (In English!) Sorry, you must have seen "PS I Love You" to get that.
Being able to check materials out myself though, might be a problem. If I let myself, I would come home every night with like 4 or 5 books at least, not to mention a few movies. I've resorted to scrambling around for a piece of scrap paper to write the titles of things I want to read/watch. At least this might get me back into reading something that isn't Harry Potter or ridiculously amazing cheesy teenage vampire romance (ZOMG, 46 days until the new book!)
Anyways, yeah, I might be down to one part-time job again, but at least this time I'll be getting paid a good wage for a part-time job and it won't be *Marc's.* It kinda sucks, because as much as I bitch about the place, I really like the people there. But whatever, it's not worth the hassle of 8 am shifts for 5 hours a week.
