Maybe reaping what you sow isn't such a bad thing
Case in point. Today, I did something fairly sinful. And the irony of it was...it ended up coming back to bite me at the end of the day.
Now I know some people on here believe in God, some don't, some do but feel differently about God than I do, or some people may worship Satan or Adolfus Busch (not to necessarily compare the two :-).
But anyway, y'all can take this thinking for what you believe it's worth, but all I'm saying is...Community service may be a better sentence than prison...If you know what I mean.
So maybe all the bad things that happen to us aren't so bad after all.
I've been fairly contemplative today, so this entry might fall into the "deep" category. Maybe even controversial. Maybe not, who knows.
But this whole thing today has got me realizing how a lot of people don't believe in God because of all the bad things that happen in the world.
Truthfully speaking, if I recall correctly, none of the major faiths of this world believe that God is going to stop every single bad thing from happening on this planet. Maybe not even most. Maybe not even any. People can interpret it differently, and it might vary from faith to faith, but they definitely don't believe He will stop them all.
Now, if anyone just doesn't believe that whatever God that would exist would allow anything bad to happen in this world, then they are entitled to believe that.
For people that just use bad occurences to try and justify their belief that the religions of the world are all wrong and that God doesn't exist...Maybe they need to actually study the ideologies they are trying to compete with.
That's all of my rant for today :-).
Other than that, I've got another muscle spasm by my left knee that's been pulsating all day. I always find those intriguing for some reason.
And I was just going back near the top of the entry to change something, but I forgot what I was going to change for some reason. So whatever it was stays the same for now.
Me go sleep now.
