Dude, I am so heartbroken that my ma and your grandma got this close to seeing this happen and didn't get to that I cried about it last night while I was walking down Hawthorne, in between cheering at fellow pedestrians and passing, honking, screaming drivers. But I also cried because your little girls got to see it happen, that they get to live in this world now. And I do too.
