I once took a class from a former member of Students for a Democratic Society (who was convicted in connection with a politically-motivated bankrobbery); I once shook hands with Black Panther co-founder Bobby Seale; I have given money to, volunteered for, and been a patient at Planned Parenthood; I have attended queer pride, anti-war and pro-choice demonstrations; I belonged to a collective, many of whose members belonged to the IWW (though I did not); I have belonged to a union and contributed to union-afficiated political causes; I am a card-carrying member of the ACLU; I have contributed to Barack Obama's campaign fund; my uncle is the treasurer for the Republican Party in the state of Idaho; many members of my extended family are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I have attended Mormon religious services (occasionally singing and speaking from the altar); I have written for leftist publications; I associate with people who are full-time advocates for liberal causes; I associate with people who protested the WTO in 1999 in Seattle; I have associated with members of the John Birch Society; I briefly lived in a county where John and Teresa Heinz Kerry own property; I was born and raised in the state where the Aryan Nations, for many years, were headquartered; I briefly lived in Southern Oregon, where many Aryan Nations members relocated after the SPLC suit and the passing of Richard Butler; I own a (National Alliance, not Free Press) copy of The Turner Diaries; I have been arrested for violation of a court order; I have met anti-death penalty activist Sister Helen Prejean; I have met Seattle Seven member Jeff "the Dude" Dowd; I live in Portland, Oregon; as a child I used a discarded American flag to make a shift dress for one of my Barbies; I have checked forecasts using the web site http://weatherunderground.com.
