If I have been remiss with LJ in general this year I have been positively woeful when it's come to writing fic. Anyways let us end the year with a visit to the Bartyverse.

Oh they are darling! Mr K and Lord H are quite used to blood of course, and I do think Bartie was trying to help. No harm in checking for asparagus at the same time. I have never had it deep fried. I usually steam mine in the coffee pot. I will deep fry some this week though, it sounds so good.

I think you're right, Bartolomew was concerned any stray crumbs might block Ernest's airway!

Nodbear and I had deep fried asparagus earlier in the year and it was delicious.

How delightful to see the welcome return of Master Bartholomew. He really is such an opportunist though! Mind you, I'm surprised he didn't take serious umbrage at Ernest usurping his spot on Miss Lucy's lap ;)

I do hope we'll be seeing more of Bartholomew in the coming year!

Funny you should say that, Bartholomew promptly decided that Miss Lucy was not paying quite enough attention to him and sat on Ernest's head.
