snow day!!
well yesterday, Friday, classes were closed for a snow day! yeah! We got a good 4 inches of snow and the roads are really slick. So Shaheen and I went back to bed instead of going to campus early to swim and go to class all day! Then we got up and went sledding on the Douglas street hill right in front of our apt. It was pretty fun, it would have been easier if we had real sleds instead of old cookie sheets! haha, but they worked pretty well. Then we came in for lunch and then Megan came home and Lisa and her roomies came over to Douglas to go sledding, so we went back outside, there was a big crowd of people at the top of Douglas all day sledding down it. There were quite a few cars in ditches today also, noone in B'ham have studded snow tires cause we barely ever get snow and also the douglas st. hill was all icy from being packed down from us sledding, not very many cars made it up the hill, and a lot just slide down.
Shaheen and I went with Megan to the elementary school playground to play in the snow with some of the guys from the baseball team that she knows. THen we came home and showered to warm up and just hung out watchin tv and working on my scrap book.
Shaheen and I made some margaritas (not blended b/c we have no blender) and some other drinks before going over to Neil's place for a little party. We played black jack and got nice and drunk...
Then we walked home and I drunk dialed Bryan just wanting to talk at first and then ended up having him come over and we ended up making out again. So much for me saying we weren't going to do that anymore...
