A Semi-Great Start To The New Year!
So this past weekend was spent in BG with my new guy. I have to say that I had an amazing time just hanging out with him and basically doing nothing. We're kinda boring, we just sat around, talked and watched movies. There isn't anything wrong with that in my mind cause I am a bit of a homebody myself, but it was really fun.
I did start off the new year at a social gathering at a friends house. As great as it was to see a lot of my friends there, I have never felt so unwanted in my life. I could tell that there were a few people there that didn't really want me around and that really hurt. Some of those people I don't even know, but I guess they had "heard about me". I say that in quotes only because a lot of people lately haven't been saying too nice of things about me. I have no idea why, but it really hurts. I did shed a tear, but Jonathan told me that they were not worth me crying over.
Even though that wasn't the best start to the new year, there are a lot of positive things going on. I have decided that this is going to be the year that I make myself a better person. I am going to study harder and just give myself more time to do the things that make me happy, not just put my feelings aside for everyone else.
