Books.

*grins* I have tons of them. Not quite literally, but getting there. I love books. I have books I have read multiple times, books I have read once, and books I have not read yet but that seemed interesting at the time or might be useful later. It's an addiction, really. You can decorate with bookshelves, right?
Crafts.
I like making stuff. There is something so much cooler about a thing you made yourself. Plus, I often want things I just can't find in a store. And it keeps my hands busy. I've found I like being able to fiddle with my hands when talking or listening. Crochet, knitting, felting, sewing on occasion, spinning sometimes, beading, paper crafts, painting miniatures... I tend to pick up one craft very intensely for a while, then switch to something else as the mood strikes.
Rural life.
I like the middle of nowhere. I like the privacy of trees between my house and the next one. I like the quiet. I love driving down backroads to get someplace - it makes even going to the store a journey. I miss some things like Indian food and a big boostore, but I can get to them when I need to. I also really like New England, and especially Maine.
The Way Things Ought to Be.
Would be you living down the road. Not sure if that is what you meant, but that's what springs to mind. The conversation is always good. I love the drives to game (going back from game involves character decompressing and very late night driving).
The Road Less Traveled.
Is generally my favorite one. I like backroads, and road trips, and exploring. And it is a personal philosophy sometimes - I like being me, being unique and different (though it has sometimes brought me grief).
