oh yeah...it just keepe getting better.
turn out the parts store WAS open saturday, and the lady lied about it. what a bitch. now we lost a whole day. But the tranny and it's new seals went in fine, though we were up till 4am AGAIN. So we packed it all up the next morning, after seeing if it would run, and when we went to start it again, it wouldn't. turns out, it was out of gas even though it showed still having some in it, because the gas gauge we had installed last year isn't correctly calibrated for our vehicle. So we go get some gas, it starts but badly due to the filter having bottom crud in it. and as we're heading out of town, it dies, all the warning lights go on, and when we restart it (which luckily it does restart), the battery light stays on. Turns out our alternator has bitten the dust. so we shell out about $200 for another one, and we've lost another day. If all stops going to hell, we get out of here tonight, drive all night, and are in quebec tomorrow morning to have his kids for 2 measly days instead of the 5-6 we were supposed to. FUCKFUCKFUCK!!!! If one more thing goes wrong, I have no idea what we'll do. we're running out of time!
