SPN
For the serious amongst us:
That finally, finally felt like an SPN episode. Not that I didn't love Weekend at Bobby's, but I like Sam and Dean to actually feature prominently in my SPN.
I kind of figured that Sam didn't have his soul, and I'm excited that Lisa is gone. She annoyed me, but I'm glad that she left Dean over her kid.
Honestly, there are risks that you just don't take with your kids that you would take with yourself.
Not So Seriously:
Does this mean that Sammy and Dean aren't soul mates any longer?
Or, seems how this season appears to be tossing in quite a few fan girly nuggets: that because they're like soul mates - Cas uses Dean's soul to find Sam's?
Poor Sam. Dean is everybody's favorite these days. Cas. Bobby. The mailman... Don't worry I think that you were still your rat bastard of a father's favorite even though he practically disowned you for wanting to further your education instead of becoming a redneck vigilante.
Of course, I'm just excited over the prospect of Jared Padalecki finally emoting again. And possibly getting his hair trimmed. It's looking a little like mine does. Fine, limp, a touch greasy. Trimming. It is good for the pretty, flowy locks.
