Harder, better, faster, stronger.
Investiture today was one heck of a show; I'm so glad it all worked out and did all our efforts justice. And the audience was fantabulous too: they got all the funny stuff! I screwed up my notes for the songs a bit but everything turned out all right in the end. The other scenes were great as far I could see (from the wings) too.
Oh and you know before that we engaged ourselves in mass production because we had to amend some mistakes in all the programme booklets. Heh.
And the touring of schools was quite fun! Simone (primary school prefect partner) and I couldn't find IJ OLN Primary, so we brought Swiss Cottage around instead because no one was taking them, and then later we went around with Crescent because they were taking the same route as us, and I MET OLGA :D Wheehoo and one of the Crescent people kept asking me to repeat my long long line heh.
I think we all know we did a great job today. And although I'm not going for dinner and I didn't cry and I didn't scream all the time, I'm glad we pulled it off; after three months, three months.
Haha and now I feel like going to a lot of other schools' investitures: I already want to go for NY's, then today I figured that there are ex-FTPPS people at Cat High and Crescent too. Hm and there's Cedar too. And more, I think.
Well let's see: I'm getting back my sleep and free Thursday and Friday afternoons. And I'm glad this week has ended on a great note. Hope the prefects are having fun at dinner! Pity I can't go, but oh well. I need to rest anyway.
P.S. You know I think Scene One props are cursed somehow, haha. Last year it was the tree that kept falling, and this year it was the backdrop. Sigh, but oh well it stayed pretty much okay today! Whew.
