got a boogie on my finger and i can't shake it off
Around noon today, as I was finally making my way out of my very lovely cool apartment to venture out to Elegance for lunch, my phone rang. My phone only rings in the middle of the day when it is my boss.
Apparently, the boss neglected to pay attention to the list of dates J gave her detailing all the days J would be out this summer. J usually works Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays (since I work at a gift shop on Saturdays) and low and behold, J is out for the next 2 weeks.
Cue my boss telling me all this and sort of hum and hawing and I finally sighed and said, "Is this your round about way of asking me to work today?"
Her reply, "No...well... yeah."
At least she paid for my lunch.
I did, however, make the mistake of having a Mudslide latte around 3 soooo the chances of me sleeping tonight? Slim.
The point to all this? I'm on AIM. Hit me up if you're bored: quietlygorgeous
