I am really rather annoyed at the recent turn out for the Primarchs. This makes two weeks in a row where I have had to fork out half the night's costs from my own pocket because we had just four people turn up. Bonus points to a couple of the guys who paid more than they needed to to help cover the costs but it has irked me a lot.

I can see part of the problem being that the guys were used to a site that had 6 or 7 tables that we could use. At the current venue we have room for 3 maybe 4. No one wants to turn up, pay their money and not get a game in. But if they don't use it they will lose it. I can't be expected to cover all shortfalls. :-(

Don't know if the Scout Hut in Russell Street or at the bottom of Mill Hill would be cheaper? Or the ATC hut near to the Rugby Club. Also my brother used to use the Hyde Park to practice with his band. The upstairs is separate from the bar and has good space for tables.

Just a few suggestions.

The scout huts are in use Thursday nights. It was alsosuggested that being in a pub might be putting some people off.

Is Thursday the only night people can make it? If it's going to cost you personally every week then perhaps it would be best to compromise and move it to a day where you can get a cheaper location.

I only mentioned the pub because the room is separate annex and is total separate from the main pub area.

Thursday, pretty much, are the only night I really have to do it these days. Same with the rest of the guys.

I wouldn't worry, we'll sort it out somehow.
