Pah! I was just out - standing on the freaking pavement beyond our car park - have a quiet ciggie. There was a girl on the concourse of Waterloo Station this morning (I'm up in London this week doing an ASP.Net course) in fancy dress - a stupidly short skirt and fairy wings at 8am - collecting money for Help the Aged. Pah! So they got it through. Didn't have the balls to ban smoking outright and give everyone help to quit. So they do this instead. Ban it in the most fun places, (since it's not a full ban) people have to spend their own money if they want to quit because of it and the government still gets the taxes off the folks that can't or wont.
