Is there really such thing as a "good guy"? Men in their 20's seem to only want 2 things: sex and alcohol.
They prove time and time again that you just can't trust them. For instance: I was dating a guy named Steve. He seemed to have everything all together, he seemed to be a good decent guy. He had his flaws and I wasn't blind to them but his humor

No man in their 20's is only looking for sex and alcohol. There are many men in their 20's who seem to only be looking for those two things. There are a hundred and one reasons for this. I'll list a couple. Perhaps you only come in contact with them at times or places when this is all they are looking for (ie. parties, the end of the day, when they are horny or overwhelmed). Perhaps it's easier for girls to say this so as to avoid a more personally hurtful reality.
Steve clearly has his own issues. It doesn't really matter if "it was him" or "it was you". The fact is the two of you didn't work - that's all. On the bright side, there is lots of stuff you can do with his stuff instead of giving it back. But again, don't support the stereotype that "girls just want our money and revenge". Jk, do w/e.
Kaitlyn and Dave are typical and unfortunately they have fallen prey to some of the retarded misconceptions and ideals of today's society as well as some natural inclincations. The misconceptions are that human beings should be monogamous. The fact is, it can be done, but both people hafta be pretty sure there is nothing better - which never happens - the only way it actually ever works is if they are both so shit scared that they are afraid of anything but being with each other. I think most successful relationships come between two people who have gotten their kicks and kinks out of their systems and have good heads on their shoulders. The virgin fairy tale is one of ignorance and usually an apple falls on Eve's head. Btw, do you or any of the other "god believers" know who Lilith is? Didn't think so.
Men our age play mind games because we're still transitioning from the ignorance of youth in that we think the whole world is for us and into the realizations of manhood that we have to settle down and choose a lifestyle and that life is short but can be beautiful if we open our eyes to the appropriate things. The mind games give men the control they felt when they were young and ignorant and the cookie jar was only a high-chair away.
There are guys who have good-intentions, practical-heads, and acceptable-health/hygiene. All guys will do what they intend to do. As for honesty, intelligence, health/hygiene, individuality, and reliability - that's asking too much of the world. How about someone who loves you and has a reliable job? Nah, you want it all, just like everyone else, and the guys who play mind games, cuz they think it will get them more.
Goodluck!
Cheers,
Geoff

hahaha I seriously considered not telling him and keeping his DVD's but that would be mean... I liked him but if it's not him, theres somebody else.
I joke about marrying a guy with lots of money but the odds of that happening are probably not very good. As long as he's got money to take me out, its all good =)
That's all very true. Kaite has him built up to being this perfect guy - an obsession. What kind of a guy says he love you, wants to marry you, cheats, says he wont do it again, then does it again and breaks up with you a couple hours before your about to go home to see your dying grandfather for the last time? What ever, hes gone and I hope he stays gone, which isn't my choice to make I know but she doesn't deserve to be treated like that.
haha we play mind games to keep control in the relationship to! Not a good thing. Although girls play mind games to figure out if he really has good intentions or not. I don't know who Lilith is but I also don't really memorize stories from the bible nor do I ever remember names of people. It takes me a good 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to learn all my students names lol.
Whats so wrong with wanting it all? I tend to make judgments on a case by case basis. I realize you can't have honesty, intelligence, health/hygiene, individuality, and reliability in one package. What matters is that they treat you right. Besides, don't you want it all to?
Thank you for responding!
