I was just offered another job at NASA--only this time it wasn't a "You'll probably get it", it's a "You have it if you want it." Arg! What do I do!? Please pray for me! I would say, if you don't know what you want, go for it. That way, you'll at least know what happens when you're in a situation like this. Experience is the best teacher. And when it comes down to it, it's only one summer. You can handle anything for one summer.

Prayin for ya girl

Your first interest/desire was to work at KSC, and you have such a gift with talking to people. I don't know what the job specifics are, but if it has anything to do with PR you'd be a natural. If it is meant to be, the transportation stuff will work out. If DR. M. is encouraging you, he probably sees a talent being matched up - even though it would mean losing it for himself! Check into ride possibilities before you give an answer, then go for it girl!

My opinion (and feel free to tell me to shut it! :P) merissarudkin May 17 2005, 17:42:32 UTC
So I personally think you should take the KSC opportunity. You're research with Dr. Mantovani will be there next year. And this opportunity would look great for you when you apply to REU programs next summer (hint, hint, you should do that :)). Go for it kid. It may not be the easiest thing you'll ever do, but it will probably be one of the most rewarding of this time in your life. Good luck with your decision!
