Two more tidbits
I forgot to mention two things in my previous post.
1) I didn't burn ONCE when I was in Florida! I somewhat expected it, since I've been trapped indoors with no sunlight all winter--but perhaps because I expected it I did a better job with the sunscreen. Instead I got a nice tan just in time for the wedding! I did definitely freckle. A LOT.
2) Traffic was super slow leaving from work yesterday. I JUST missed the #1 bus and had to wait for the next one. When we finally crawled down Westwood, I saw a man being handcuffed by a police officer! Then I saw a car that had rammed into the back of a bus. The bus was emptied of passengers and other officers were taking down witness accounts. The car was still stuck in the back of the bus. I turned around as we passed and, sure enough, it was the #1 bus! I can't be sure it was the exact one I missed (traffic was slow enough that it COULD have been) but, in any case, it was a bus that I could have been on had I left any earlier from work. It didn't look like anyone was hurt (at least hurt a lot), which was good.
