Dealing with some personal disappointment and have a lot to think about. It is OK, but the experience that I am being mysterious about will remain a mystery to to most. I finally got out to take some sunset photos here just a mile down the road at Cedar Hill State Park and Joe Pool Lake. There are over a half million acres of Texas on fire right now, much of it west of DFW due to the VERY dry and windy conditions. Today, the winds were sustained anywhere from 20-50 miles an hour at times coming directly from the west. As a result, it smells like a campfire and the sky is full of smoke and soot.
