Sick and tired of being sick and tired
God I know I must be starting to sound like a big baby here. Actually, when I talk I sound more like Polly Bergen after a pack of cigarettes.
Evidently this is going around the DFW area as when I called in to my boss to schedule another day off for tomorrow she let me know that several in the office are also out sick. I am pretty sure that comment was an attempt to guilt me into coming in anyway, but I am sorry - I can not function when I cough out of control and my head is swimming in phlegm. At least I no longer have a fever, but the head and muscle aches are just not going away.
Also I had forgot what a dearth of material is on daytime TV. I watched Guiding Light when I was in high school nearly 30 years ago and find it hilarious that many of the same characters are on now. The actor who plays Josh Lewis has turned into quite the daddy man though - YUM!
Lord help me - I gotta get well SOON! The mood is annoyed because I am still sick...
