The Power of Love
I got an update this morning about Doug. Seems the outpouring of love and care for him on Sunday did not wear him out as many had feared, but rather energized him. Hospice now says he is not so much "on the brink" and likely will live through the week and longer. I know a part of it is he is a fighter and maybe he is just not quite as ready to to leave this reality as he thought. In any event, as long as he is not in any pain and real suffering, I am happy he can enjoy some more time with his family and those who love him...
