Totally ganked this from wwcitizen .

No matter how one feels about the US involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, the wounded soldiers who have come back really need as much support as possible to rebuild their lives. When sending out cards this year (for those who do that sort of thing), send one to the following address:

I wanted to give some of my old Teddies to the Westmead Children's Hospital Xmas Toy appeal, but they actually don't ACCEPT stuffed toys, due to possibility of infections being spread!

Oh - and do you know many guys from the Turtle Creek Chorale? Gregg B (and his other half, Michael D) are some of my best and longest online friends! :-)

Here they give the toy to the kid to keep. I have not heard of Children's Hospital turning down donations of stuffed toys.

I sang in TCC for 12 years and actually recruited Greg to join. He was a neighbor of mine when he first moved to Texas and we carpooled to rehearsals often. He and Michael are good friends of mine as well.

In the world of Bears, I'm pretty sure it's only about 1 or 2 Degrees of Separation! :-)

Funny thing is that I found out last night your partner Roy is my Facebook friend Roy. I hope you gave him a good birthday present last week!

That's my Roy! :-)

Well, I did the best I could for his birthday, but he'll do much better when he's up here for Xmas and New Year! :-)

*hugs*

Now I have more friends to visit in Australia. Interesting that you are the only one I know at all in Sydney, but seem to know several in Melbourne.
