Noise Complaint Part 2.

Jun 08, 2005 01:08

The crisis containd in my last entry was started as a noise complaint by residents across the street somewhere. Had they come to the house and asked individuals personally involved to cease the nefarious activity aka shennanigans, aaka sitting on the front porch, well within ear shot of a simple "hey shut the fuck up, we have to work tomorrow", a prison sentence, and a year of probation could have been avoided. I want to make these cowards pay for this. But vengence is not my style. Guilt is. No amount of guilt changes the facts: Cowards call the cops. I think these people have an agenda. They are trying to drive us out of the neighborhood.

What does this have to do with the price of butter? Well I will tell you... Now. I made it a point all day to merely assert at a more than normal volume the phrase "Dont get too loud or the neigbors will call the cops." I even proclaimed it tonight after it was brought to my attention that some friends ours were stared-down as they approached our house. I walk out the door. No one is out there except the porch dwellers across the street. I say my mantra loudly, to the sea of no one outside.

Moments later...

As I am explaining what happened last night diagramatically, using remote controls and spare change, ring a ding ding who could it be??

"Knock Knock Knock Knock"

yea, it was the cops. A second noise complaint is now filed. This is getting rediculous. The cop said that these people were getting unreasonable. Grr, 6 years here and they are just now getting shitty? Fuckin idiots.

I always chalk these things up to fate. In the "It was meant to be" sense of the word. As for my lifestyle, well if you dont like it.. then hey, fuck you!
