Favourite Albums of 2008
Mine are totally predictable:
1. Fleet Foxes, Fleet Foxes + The Sun Giant EP (They are both great)
2. Shearwater, Rook
3. Calexico, Carried to Dust
4. Okkervil River, Okay I haven't actually heard The Stand Ins, but Okkervil River are one of my big discoveries of 2008. I love The Stage Names and Black Sheep Boy so much and apparently this latest is just more of the same and has a song called 'Lost Coastlines' - which can only mean good things. My sister is seeing Will Sheff in San Francisco tomorrow night. I wish I could spontaneously see my favourite artists in random US cities on a whim.
