Thank god there are coffee shops on every block in chicago.
I left around 9 oclock thursday night for chicago... got there about 1ish. After finding where I needed to be down in the city, the hunt for a hotel began. An hour and a half later, I finally got to sleep in a hotel by ohare.
"On a friday morning, getting to downtown chicago will take about 1 to 2 hours." -- Desk Clerk
3 hours later, time to get up and head to the city.
35 minutes later I am sitting at a starbucks meets panera type place in the lobby of the building I need to be in. A tripple expresso mocha vanilla kick ya in the balls drink later I was awake enough to order a second one.

That is nova's site. The next 2.5 hours involved a discussion forumn type situation where a recruiter shows a few slideshows and discusses what nova does.
The other people that were there were couples. I guess nova places a lot of couples. I was really suprised to find that only 1 person out of the group, not counting myself, had any knowledge of japan outside of sushi and bukkake. Along with this, I seemed to be the only person asking any questions regarding insurance, benefits, vacation, sick leave, internal advancement, training benefits. Considering I was the same age if not younger then the others, I was supprised.
Anyways, after this session there was a 1 on 1 interview in which they did a typical psych eval, "I am going to ask you a series of questions, respond quickly without thinking too much. If you take too long, I will move on to the next question." After this, I did a simple english lesson. Nova seems to have the teaching method down to a fine art, so that any idiot can teach. w00t. This was followed up with me asking a few more questions that I didn't feel was neccessary to bring up in the group. All in all this lasted about an hour.
After that, on the road again.. back to stl.
