You are a beautiful girl. You always have been, you always will be. Remember fifth grade, and that French beret'- (spelling) you used to wear? And circling in the Dimondale park with your friends.
Do you remember the act off? Talking about Fairye (not fairy) lore and the stories of Ireland?
Debating whose mother was craziest (and yes, mine totally is crazier) and winning- then getting stabbed when I pointed out that you and your mom worshiped trees (which- really now- there's nothing wrong with that- but come on- stabbing me?)
Do you remember the act off? We did a stellar job.
Or band antics, and Shakespeare in the park?
Those are my memories of you, Ms. Hanton. If you cannot find light in your own life, perhaps you need others to remind yourself of the positive things that invigorate your own. Like delicious Spaetzle that you spent hours making (and boy- was that stuff ever good)- or speaking German with others- and YES! Being the FIRST GERMAN FOUR CLASS EVER IN HOLT HIGH SCHOOL'S HISTORY!!
I still think of you, too. I hope you can find happiness in your life. I'm so happy for you, too. Maybe life isn't everything we want it to be- but it can still be pretty amazing, no?
All the best to you. And keep the Holy Grail of Monty Python blazing!
