Local Austin produce / meat / eggs?

I've started work full time, at a job that involves 2 hours a day in the car commuting. I hate driving, but I've discovered that listening to an audio book from the library converts "Grrr....." into "That's ok, more time to hear what happens next." that being said, you can look into CSAs (community sustained agriculture). a lot of workplaces and farms set them up, and you get X # of baskets of whatever the local farm is producing (so, one week you get a rutabega and one onion; the next month two dozen rapes and some cabbage, etc). when i worked for the state (those brief 6 months) there was a local CSA that delivered every-other-week, and it had an egg option.

Badger (Rowen) from CMA guardians lives in austin, and she uses Tecolote Farms https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tecolote-Farm/311181945206 and recommends local harvest http://www.localharvest.org/ to look for local providers. local harvest also has beef (keep in mind local, organic is usually sold by the half-critter) and egg resources. Also, for convenience, Sprouts, Sun Harvest, Natural Grocer, Whole Foods all are pretty good about telling you if things are locally sourced and/or organic.
