Well it has been a while....
Things are starting to look up and down but over all pretty good.
In February I got a call back from my temp job. They wanted me to come back and run the cash box for the store again. It was 7 hours a day two days a week. Not much money but it meant I was not going to have to sell everything that I owned on ebay. Just most of what I owned. Either way, it was money coming in that I did not have.
Right before I started, I had a job interview with Georgia Gwinnett College Library, who I used to work for when it was GPC. The interview went good but I never heard back from them. So I figured that they found someone better for the job. Well, about a month later I get a call from them and they offer me the job. I accepted of course, I would have had been mad if I didn't.
I started to work the 5th of April and it's been good. It's nice to have a place to go to every day. I have really cool coworkers and the job is pretty fun. Plus, it will give me a chance to go back to school and get my degree in Library Science. Then you can really call me a Librarian. :)
Now for the downside. My great grandmother passed away a couple of days before Saint Patrick's day. It was kind of a shock. I mean we knew that she wasn't doing to well...but we never expected it to happen this fast. It's one of those things that you expect it but still you don't. If that makes any sense.
The other bad thing is my stupid car has been acting up. The day before I start my new job, the check engine light come on. Apparently my cam shaft sensor was bad. Thankfully my Dad came to the rescue and was able to fix my car. Then two days ago, I get in my car to go home and start driving off. I hear this weird thudding noise and notice that two students are staring at the back of my car. I pull into a parking place and get out to see my back right tire...completely flat.
Thankfully again, my Dad comes to help. He changes the tire and takes my car in yesterday to get new ones on it. So yea for superdad! He really needs a good father's day gift this year for all the help he has given me with my car.
