I really need to start coming up with titles for these posts. I am a writer, I should be more creative. Oh well.
It's been a little over a week since AWA ended. I had fun this year. I got to see Matt, Corwin, Andy and Sean for a little while. It was nice to talk with the boys. See how they are doing since I last saw them. Over all AWA was good this year. I cosplayed on Saturday as a Steampunk. If I remember (which probably won't happen), I will try to post some pics of my costume. I was proud of it for the last minute changes I had to make to it. I figured that this year it would be better not to take any of my weapons. I didn't want Cobb County Police to have any reason to fuss at me.
Working for Fandom was cool this year. It made AWA go by a bit faster but at least I know I helped out some of my friends. I had just enough money this year for the room and that was it. So nothing extra for me this year. It sucked not to have any money but after three months of worrying that I would not be able to to make it to AWA, I was thrilled at just the chance to be there.
Things are beginning to pick up at work. We are working full time hours and I even get to come in tomorrow and get a little overtime. So that will help the paycheck. I am still worried about December. My job is supposed to end...I don't know if they will ask me back. If they don't, I will be starting at square one again. Something that scares the hell out of me. Keep me in your thoughts because I am going to need all the luck I can get.
