I can't believe this actually happened.
I went into Gamestop about an hour ago to pick up the newest Final Fantasy game for the PSP. I had been putting off buying it for a while because I am broke. I finally gave into temptation today and decided to buy it.
I get the game and go stand in line. There are two people in front of me. One is a Mom getting a game for her son and the other is a guy buying a PS3 and almost every thing that goes with it. Which by itself would be a big deal because the PS3 is expensive, the guy pulls out a hug roll of cash and pays for everything. He goes over to the side of the counter to wait for the clerk to help him load everything up. Wen it gets to be my turn in line, I tell the clerk that if he wants he can go help the guy with the PS3 because one, I wasn't in a hurry and two, the guy was getting a mountain of stuff.
The clerk told me not to worry, the guy had just quit the store and could wait. The clerk said that he would rather throw things at the guy's head than help him. I told him that was fine, he could and the clerk acted like he was going to throw the box at the guy. As the clerk got my game he told the guy that I wanted him to throw things at the guy's head for my amusement. The guy looked at me and I smiled brightly at him shaking my head yes. He could tell though that I was just joking.
The clerk rung me up and I was about to pay when the guy spoke up and said that he would buy my game for me. I paused and looked at him saying "What?". The guy said that he would buy my game and walked over to pay pulling out the some more of his cash. As he did, he asked if I needed anything else. I told him the cheat book and he picked it up and paid for it also. Before I left I gave the guy a huge hug thanking him. He smiled and told me to enjoy the game.
