Computer advice
I need a little help. Windows decided to go belly up on my nearly-new computer, the one I use for school. I was able to save some of my notes and such, but not as much as I'd like. When I try to start my computer I get an error saying "Missing operating system", so I can't even get into a command prompt or safe mode. I just want an extremely basic OS that will let me get to a command prompt and copy files to a USB drive. *nix, Mac OS, DOS 5.0, I don't really care, just as long as it'll work. Suggestions? Thanks.
