How was your Halloween? by itsanonyx
It was actually pretty good, all things considered. Spent most of the work day fighting off a migraine, and wasn't sure I was going to even make it home from work, but I finally managed to break it and get home. The apartment complex has a trick or treat 'walk' set up on our street, and this was the first year we've been able to participate.
I loaded a laundry basket up with a majority of my plush Eeyores and went as Luisa from Encanto; bizarra went as a Starfleet officer; and I loaned my brother my Kenough sweatshirt so he could be Ken. He got a little too into it, and gave away most of the candy too early in the evening (he was also clearly slightly inebriated, so his mood was a little aggro, but he's an adult and I've stopped trying)
Saw a lot of great costumes and SO MANY DOGS. Had we known, we'd have provided dog treats. Now we know, for next year, though.
I did not get to watch either of my usual Halloween movies, this year, but that's okay. I don't need it to be Halloween to watch either of them, honestly LOL
