but just a pop in to say HI!
+ I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping, the past week. Not sure if it's something to do with the anesthesia from last week or the weather or what. Had a very long and weird dream, this morning, that woke me up a few times. But...
+ I managed to get up and with it in time to watch the Janeway monument unveiling via FB live (
bizarra and I were supposed to go to the event in the before times, but everything shut down like.. two days after we bought the plane tickets). It was wonderful and I can't wait to get to Bloomington to see the sculpture in person.
The base of it is a comm delta and it's just 110% perfection, top to bottom and left to right. The sculpter even got Kate's smirk and it's just.. ♥♥
+ I have yet to finish ONE quilt project, and I'm about to buy a kit for another one because y'all.. look at this:
Not gonna lie, it had me at the "white" background fabric, which is actually little blue/orange lines, like notebook paper.
+ I think I'm also going to commit to a new desk chair. All the online 'Best of' lists mark the chair as one of the Top Five for a budget, yet all the Amazon/WalMart/Office Depot reviews simply say it's trash. Every YouTube video I watched, however, showed a perfectly fine chair with pretty easy assembly instructions. All the chairs I have to choose from at Office Depot are going to be more office chair, anyway. At least with a gaming-style chair, I can use it at the computer AND the sewing machine.
+ I need to find out when my Universal pass expires, but no one will answer the damn phone. I should just plan to stop on the way home from work, one night. All else, I'll get some steps in, and take another pass through the HHN store (for pictures of the Beetlejuice room)
+ I think that's everything, for now..........
