Quick update
+ the quilting event went pretty well - I ended up taking almost an extra hour to finish, than the host, but it was my first time. I also mucked things up quite a bit and the size and seams got weird. I also realized just what I did wrong, after the fact, so I know for the future what NOT to do, next time.
Next up comes finding a good fabric for the back, and figuring out how to sew it all together.
Long story short, aside from the initial OMGWTF, I really enjoyed it. I have another fabric roll, so I'm tempted to do that one the correct way. LOL

+ fandom drama imploded Saturday night, and most of yesterday was a DRAIN. I wasn't even in the thick of it, but two people I care about were, and now everyone in the group is on eggshells and -personally- I have many thoughts, but it's been made quite clear that any opinion I have on the matter is jaded, so I'm just staying off Discord, today.
It's quite clear, however, that half the people raising the stink have never been involved in a LiveJournal shipping community war.
+ In that same vein, I'm really glad I don't have to deal with the colonoscopy tomorrow, because my blood pressure is through the roof, after last night.
+ After cancelling Project Blue Book, History went ahead and put out a mobile game. Did I download it, on the off-chance there's animated Neal in a mobile game?
YOU BET YOUR ASS I DID.
Haven't seen him yet, but I'm hopeful.
+ I want to end on something positive.. so WHOOOOOOOO to Billie Lourd announcing a surprise baby, this weekend; Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood had their baby, at some point (also announced, this weekend); and Kate Mulgrew's grandbaby was also born, this weekend.
