Found BBC!OnDemand this morning, so I rewatched two episodes of Top Gear while waiting for Mom and Dad to arrive. I also managed to write the beginning of the next part of the party for Tin Man!Adora on paper... going to try and get it out on the computer, though. *goes for a Pepsi*
The drive down was awesome *insert sarcasm here* but we finally made it. J got stuck in traffic coming from the other way, but he arrived, finally. The girls in Children's Activities blinged out his shirt
Bowling went fairly well, we all did really well. Mom only bowled the first game, then J and I switched off for her the second game (I was evens). She got a decent score, too! [HINT: she's K]
And, now I'm home.
Anywhoo....
EDIT: Oh, I forgot:
HAPPENED to look down at the bowling alley and saw my Incredible Hulk keychain on the floor. I don't even remember pulling my keys out, but I'm glad I found it. Will have to get the pliers out and get him back on there. *loves my mini!Hulk*
Also, the brother headed over to ESPN's Wide World of Sports (formerly Disney's Wide World of Sports) to see if he could still manage to get in to Mike & Mike or The Herd, in case someone didn't show up, before he had to go to work. The girl at the door took pity on him and snuck him in the back door, so he got to see the last two hours of Mike & Mike and most of The Herd.
Apparently, ESPN made 10th anniversary bobbleheads of Mike & Mike, but some folks from the day before knew about them and snagged what they could find before the show started, according to the guys sitting in front of him.
He managed to move up to the front as people left, and was on ESPN during a pan of the audience. Of course, he didn't call to tell me he was there, and he didn't tape it, so we have no proof. *sigh*
He also talked Chargers with Colin, and ended up getting picked on during the show, while Colin was talking to Darrelle Revis. Good times.
