I'm really excited about the possibility of a coalition government. Not happy about them negotiating with the Bloc, but I'm so sick of Stephen Harper trying to run a minority government like a majority.

TBH I really REALLY like Duceppe, despite his separatist leanings. I think his policies are in line with my personal beliefs, and he's the most charismatic of all the current leaders. But totally see your point.

For personality, Duceppe is actually my favourite - he's had some great one-liners in debates over the years. Also, he forces the other candidates to debate the issues instead of repeating talking points, which I love. I would have a lot more respect for him if he would just come out and say that his party has essentially given up on separatism and is focusing instead on provincial rights issues. But, since they still hold on to the separatist banner, I'm uncomfortable with them having (some measure of) power.

Ha! Really, if he wasn't Bloc (all for separation!) and there were people running in Manitoba, I'd vote for them. They have (strangely enough) more credibility then the NDP. And I LOVE the NDP, don't get me wrong, but we (I say we because I'm a party member in two provinces) lack practical experience on a national scale. It's unfortunate.
