A Weekend at the Park
It was a three day weekend and nothing much was done. The weather was amazing: blue skies, a light breeze, and highs in the 70s. The roomie and I decided to spend most of the weekend relaxing at the local park on the lake and we were not the only ones with this idea. We packed up some munchies, a blanket, and books and headed out to the park on Sunday and Monday.
The park was busy both days and trying to find parking was not easy. For as big as the park is one would think the parking lots would be bigger. Even with all of the people we were able to spread our blankets out on the same area both days and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake. We talked, read, and soaked up some sun.
