Book: The Greatest Generation
I have been reading The Greatest Generation by Tom Brokaw and the book is amazing. It is about the generation who grew up during the great depression, fought during WWII, and returned to a regular life. Each chapter of the book focus on a different person; their life before the war, during the war, and after the war.
One argument that Brokaw makes is that is that this generation is so amazing because they don’t consider themselves to be amazing. This generation just did what they had to do and it was not amazing because everyone else was doing the same thing. I agree with his argument.
I think the book is amazing and I am looking forward to reading more of his work.
