A Trip to Costco

I cleaned my apartment on Saturday. I really need to do that more; I discovered I was being invaded by killer Japanese Dust Bunnies. They differ from killer American Dust Bunnies in size, shape, and they have the ability to reproduce at a faster rate. I think I got most of them out of my apartment.

Costco is an amazing store! It is just like Sam’s Club. Beth, Anne, Andrea, and I took a road trip down to Chiba to visit Costco and do some shopping. We couldn’t have picked a worse day to go down. It was snowing, icy, and slushy. It wasn’t a good mix. We figured it would take us an hour and a half to two hours to get down to Costco and it probably would have if we had been reading the map correctly.

Kevin had highlighted a road map for Beth and even though the map was in kanji we had a pretty good idea where we were going or we thought we did. After pulling over for directions three times and spending about three hours driving on the toll road lost we finally found someone who pointed out our error. We had been reading the map WRONG! We thought we had been driving West to East thus making confused because we couldn’t find the road, towns, or anything else on the map. Turns out, we were driving the way we wanted to East to West but we had been looking at the map wrong. We had been on the correct road the entire time we just thought we were driving on it backwards. If that makes sense.

We finally got to Costco and had lunch. That store has the best pizza. Delicious!!! I picked up to bottles of wine, chocolate, and some muffins. I really didn’t need to buy too much because I will be going home in a month or so and I don’t need any bulk products.

After I got in my apartment I opened a bottle of wine, had a glass with some chocolates, and cross-stitched. It was the prefect way to end the weekend.
