Halloween Parties

Last night, we had the interTalk Halloween Party and after that, Beth and Kevin had their annual Halloween Party.  The interTalk kid’s party was a blast! The students dressed up in costumes and did a bunch of different activities. We had bingo, crafts, face paint, color the balloon, and we played Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Jack o-lantern (Duck, Duck, Goose). The best group of kids were a bunch that dressed up from Alice in Wonderland. The student dressed up as the Mad Hatter was so cute. He had the little hat and everything. One of my students dressed up as a race car driver had he even was allowed to have his parent's cell phone so he was taking pictures with it all night. Another student of mine really liked Kevin's costume so he was climbing over Kevin all night.

After the party, I went to Jana’s and she did my make up and hair for Beth and Kevin’s party. I went as a Hawaiian, I wore a tropical print dress that Penny got me.  Andrea and Brooke went as witches, Katie went as a Minnesota Twins Player, Jana as Daphne from Scooby-Doo, Beth was a Pirate, and Kevin went as Captain Jack Sparrow. We all had kick butt costumes.

At the party, Andrea did card readings and we all sat around and talked. My card reading said that I may have some health problems, my mood is a bit off, but I will over come these things, find a strength, and be happy. There were awards for Best Costume (Jana won), Scariest Costume (one of Kevin and Beth’s friends won. He had a Jason Mask.), and Sexiest Costume (I won but I still think the sexy maid outfit was better). Katie and I couldn’t stay because we have Culture Festival today so we had to leave around 11:10pm. But I am glad that I went because it was a great time.

intertalk, special events, holiday, friends
