Something that is making me tentatively happy -- this morning I got a note from Soom that the BJD I'm going to make into Haruka from Noein (a Soom Mirabil) is arriving today! Well, it was actually supposed to arrive this afternoon. :-/ I really hope it does still arrive this evening. But I'm looking forward to unwrapping her so much ( Read more... )

My Karasu BJD now has his canon-accurate costume, which I commissioned from the wonderful Margaret Lucidore of Cidore Dolls on Etsy. (She created the bodysuit; the cape is from Iplehouse.) I can't tell whether this doll is attempting to be Orochimaru from Naruto or Ulquiorra from Bleach.

At one point I swore I wasn't going to do this, but I have acquired a BJD. A 70cm Doll Family A "Eric" sculpt that I'm going to turn into Karasu from Noein. (Here's Karasu in color and cloaked.)
