The Secret to a Happy Life
I've figured it out... and all along, it was sitting there, right in front of my nose, practically smacking me in the face... It took me 23 years of trial and error before I saw it... and it's available to EVERY single person in the world... no exceptions.
Give your life to God.
See? That's all it is... take all that you are, and just give it to Him... Let Him take control... Let Him guide you... Let Him have the glory for all of your accomplishments, and defeats... for all of your joy, and your sorrow... just give it ALL to HIM! And guess what? When you take the power out of your own hands, and put it into His, He will bless you beyond belief. When you can say, and mean, "Lord God, I want You to be my priority. I want You to take control. And I love You above all others" then your life will be happy :) Mine sure is!!
I have to work each and ever day to remember that I don't have to worry... I don't have to fear... and I don't have to fix things... because with Him there is no worry... there is no fear... and He will fix it for me, whether that's by adding an outside help, or by guiding my decisions. He is what gives me JOY! He has filled my life with people who bring me SO much happiness! And all along, it was right in front of my silly little nose. :)
